I am a housewife with two small children. "Joshua" is based on a Saturday with my son, Andrew Joshua. I spend the day searching for my glasses. I thought it was humorous that he found my glasses and another pair of glasses I thought I lost forever at the bottom of his toy box. AJ, now seven, attends a school for developmental disabled children. The story "Joshua" takes place before he was diagnosed with autism and ADD.
