Gerald Laetz

Gerald clearly has a great sense of humor and enjoys his writing...it shows through as you read only a few sentences. He is a semiretired computer engineer, boasts of his 52 years of age and appears to be happily retired (or mostly so) since around 1993. Of himself Gerald writes:

During my twenty year career I worked on large mainframe real time computer systems, the last seventeen years for a defense contractor who was responsible for the Top Gun Navy and Air Force fighter pilot training systems. This job allowed me to travel to many foreign locations in Europe and the Orient. And also spend a great amount of time on overseas flights. Thus this short story. I have also completed three fictional novels, two science fiction, and one adventure, and one nonfictional book on how to coach losing slow pitch softball. All unpublished. I presently golf, play softball, fish, travel, study, and of course, write.

Perhaps we can persuade Gerald to share more of his work with us in the near future.
