Nicole Tibler
When we at The Writer's Gallery ask our authors to dash off a few
words about themeselves, they usually accomplish this is in a brief
paragraph with just the barest of essentials. Occassionally we get a
enchanting short missive that stands alone.
In Nicole Tibler's case, we have not touched a single word.

The power of the written word has never failed to energize my inner
spirit. My name is Nicole Marie Tibler. I am seventeen years old. Writing
is the way I express my most inner thoughts and feelings towards this world
where both good and evil exsists. I became intrested in creative writing in
the fourth grade. My teacher opened me up to a new way of seeing the world.
I won my first writing contest that year. I came in third place and won a
trophy for the Cutter Morning Star Reflections Contest in the literature
catergory. Ever since that time, I have been keeping a journal and a poetry
folder where my most deepest thoughts and desires go down. As of right now,
I am writing a fantasy play titled the "White Tiger Queen". Throughout this
time, my friends and family have been encouraging me to continue writing my
peoms and short stories. They are the columns that help support me.
When I am not writing, I enjoy playing my flute or trumpet, and working
on
the computer. I am intrested in radio. My father is a news director and a
talk show host of a local radio station here in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I
have been on his show many times and the people enjoy hearing a younger
voice. What I enjoy being who I am is that I have the freedom to be who I
want. I am free to be me!
We hope to see more poetry and perhaps a few short stories from Nicole in the
near future.
