(1) The Playkings

Is nobility or arrogance
This man who I see?
Is Self or Another
The reason we are free?

"The Other is dead,"
The skeptics proclaim.
They fail to realize,
Perhaps they are to blame.

Belief in Another
Is fading away.
Mankind is a temple,
Kneel and pray.

We heed not the warnings.
"Man can overcome all."
The climb to perfection
Risks a very long fall.

The Other is alive.
He never was dead.
He exists still,
Although his people have fled.

He will let us pretend.
He will let us wear the crown.
Arms open, he will be there
when Self tumbles down.

(2) RAGE

The title of the book
I am living is Rage
I'm waiting for someone to
please turn the page
And empty the trash can
Say hi to the trashman
Tell him I'll see him in chains
To sing him blessed refrains
And to close
the dark crimson door
Where I will speak of
my rage no more

(3) THE KINGDOM NIGHTCLUB

God's merry bouncers
Stand at the entrance
To the Kingdom Nightclub
Check your ID
They might let you in

The man with the man on his arm
Sorry, you weren't invited

The junkies in the gutter
You're not on the list

Hey, Mr. Preacher
C'mon in

We got salvation
Buy one
Get one free

Hurry Preacherman
There's not enough to go around

Not enough to go around
