Help Desk

Help is also available on " Web Site Format", and submissions of original works are welcome!

Browse around and you will find a number of new authors anxious for you to read their works of fiction, satire, or inspiration.

The Writer's Gallery features the works of amateurs or new professionals...authors who are hoping to entertain you. Literary skill may not be the forte here, but we hope more to bring you interesting story lines, plots, intrigue, or even the opportunity to provide gentle critcism. Or perhaps you can help finish a story that the author has trouble ending.

Perhaps you are a budding writer yourself! Take the opportunity to E-Mail a short story, or chapter or two of your novel to writers@writersg.com. If the editors approve of your entry, it will appear amongst the other works "posted" here. Every submittal will be reviewed by the Editors and they will give you some good advice even if you choose not to go online. For some other solid hints and advice on how to write effectively, there are some ideal sources on the WWW:

Or maybe you think someone else's character needs work. Now, in the Writer's Gallery, you can have the opportunity to write a chapter for one of the stories listed here. Don't fear rejection, as the editors are ready to give you a chance to see your work "published".

What could be more exciting then "putting pen in hand" (your computer keyboard will suffice), and getting immediate gratification when others read your words in print. It all happens in the Writer's Gallery. (for an interesting viewpoint on Online Writing and Reading visit Nicholas Negroponte's "Being Digital" CyberDock).

Hardcopy Publishers may contact the authors by posting their requests via the writers@writersg.com E-Mail address as well, or, alternatively, may leave the appropriate comment in the comment areas under each title.

All works herein are Copyright, 1995 by the listed author and The Writer's Gallery.

We'd also like to invite you to the popular Science Fiction Gallery maintained on the this server by OneStep Internet Services.

To leave a comment on a particular piece of work, we have created a combination survey form and comment form. Simply fill out the form and click on the "submit comment" button. If you prefer, you may try the other alternative, simply compose an E-Mail to writers@writersg.com, include the work's title, and your comments. These too will go through a slight edit, and eventually appear in the comments areas.

Typical comments range from suggestions on what to do next with the character to serious literary criticism (be gentle, we are, after all, amateurs!). And it wouldn't hurt to post a little positive feedback if you enjoyed the reading!

Read, enjoy, and Please comment, we really want that feedback.

Please Note: We reserve the right to accept for display any piece of work. Our criteria is, however, quite loose. But due to the beliefs of the editors, we may edit certain levels of profanity. The editors are not prudes, however.
