NOTE:
The Writer's Gallery is no longer actively seeking writers or taking submissions to be edited. Some of our previous authors submit works from time to time and we post them.
For instance, Michael Crawford has submitted the complete rough draft of the seminal novel Blue Flash. The novel is a large four section work that describes
the ancestors,
technology and process that serves as the background material for the
Solar Nations Novels, a set of 18 novels under development
with 2 ready for publishing.
Michael has also included some background material at the bottom of the Blue
Flash link page that you might find interesting, including a timeline for the
Solar Nations novels that is enticing!
Michael has also uploaded the last in the Solar Nations series, Last Ship To Darius. A far off Terran Colony finds themselves in the thick of it, with an old battle hardened General ready to face threats centuries after his heyday.
The remainder of the work on the site is from previous years, and serves as a memorial to the early work in those authors' early writing careers.

We have all kinds of verse here. For instance, we think this short limerick from Mike Barrett will get 'ye ta' grinnin'...
There was a small blue alien, 'Prometheus Tim',
Who mined Dilithium Crystals by the Galactic Rim.
He didn't like being blue, but as he sadly knew,
"You just canne' change the Laws of Physics, Jim!"
- Mike Barrett, 1995, Leeds, U.K.
Sometimes, we can tell a person by their writing. This is usually the case of Haiku. But be aware, many a Haiku writer has assumed a persona. It's fun however, and as you'll see, we have some early entries, which like most Haiku seem to be utterly simplistic. But wait! Look deeper and see what you can see. Now I am sounding like the Monk admonishing "Grass Hopper" in Kung Fu! Note that we are not religious in our acceptance of prose offered as Haiku. After all the style is said by some to be a "free expression" art form even though it is usually viewed within a set of limiting style attributes. However, we choose to let images form and thoughts attract each other like so much mercury. Why get in the way with tiresome analysis and dissection.
