THE CHILDREN'S PLEA

By Linda C. Robinson

" Please Mom and Dad take time for me! "

Everyday we hear this plea. The world is moving so fast. It seems like what little time we have

with our kids slips by and doesn't last. Most families both parents work at least one job. Some fathers have

to work two. The cost of living is so high. Having to do this is a sad fact of life. For the husband and the wife. And of course the children don't understand. They are smart enough to realize how expensive everything really is. But this is also true.

Everyone likes what money buys. But what about the many times the kids need only you?

The little hand held high to reach for yours to walk by your side. The little time it takes for two to take a bicycle ride. The little things that mean so much. The things without a price tag. This is not a lot of wag.

So you need the money. But don't forget about the needs of your kids as you run out the door to rush to work or to the store.

The more we learn. I'm sure that parents wouldn't be quite so stern when the kids yearn for a little of their time.

Kids need so much love and guidance. Some parents never realize until it's too late. But when trouble hits them in the face they're the first to state.

How could this have happened?

Even though the schedules get out of line. It's so important to find the time.

A little hug, a tender squeeze. Please don't forget the Children's Plea.
